Community ConnectionsOur school values and promotes partnerships with parents and the wider school community. Key events on our yearly calendar include Father’s (Special Person) Day Breakfast, Mother’s (Special Person) Day Morning Tea, ANZAC Day Service, Remembrance Day Service, and School Concert. We also have a strong connection with the One and All program, as well as working closely with Echuca Specialist School on a number of inclusive activities.
Cross Age InteractionWe have four house groups, Burnanga, Barra, Djarring, and Gurburr. We plan activities regularly that require these houses to work co-operatively as a team. We also have a buddy program that gives older children in the school an opportunity to mentor and support a younger buddy.
Information Technology and CommunicationThe use of technology is embedded in all teaching and learning sessions. Students have access to interactive TVs, laptops, ipads, desktop computers and digital cameras.
Health and Physical EducationAll students participate in daily physical activity and a structured program is provided for all year levels. We conduct school swimming, athletics and cross-country carnivals. Support is provided for students who participate in interschool, regional and state sporting events.
LibraryWe have a school library and students are encouraged to borrow on a weekly basis. Each year we participate in the Premier’s Reading Challenge.

Student LeadershipOpportunities for student leadership include membership on the Student Action Group (Junior School Council). Grade six students also have the opportunity to be one of four student leaders elected each semester.
The ArtsSpecialist teaching is provided in Music and Art. Students also have access to private music lessons. Individual, small group and class performances form part of our weekly whole-school assembly program.
Science and SustainabilitySpecialist teaching is provided in Science with a focus on sustainability and recycling which includes community vegetable garden program.
Camps and ExcursionsWe offer a progressive camping program from Prep – Grade 6. Regular class excursions are organised to extend learning beyond the school gates.
LanguagesAll students have access to an Indonesian program delivered by a qualified LOTE teacher.
